The threats facing our oceans can feel distant if you live far from the closest beach, but photographs of the vibrant ecosystems and beautiful species below the waves can make individuals feel closer to the ocean, spurring them to take action to protect it.

Annie Guttridge knows this first hand. She's a professional photographer that  shares our passion to #makewaves for marine life, especially sharks. We recently chatted with Annie for Episode 2 of Sharks Don't Sleep to learn more about what drives her to change misconception about sharks and to protect these important animals.
