Make a 6-Pact for the Ocean
The staggering amount of plastic in our oceans is getting more and more attention, and for good reason: By 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean.
Organizations like our partner, the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, are tackling the issue head on and need our help.
The Center recently launched the 6-Pact for the Ocean campaign with Provincetown designer Tim Covenry of TIM-SCAPES. 6-Pact is a pledge for individuals to get involved in keeping our oceans clean.
Make a 6-Pact by pledging these easy actions:
- Participate in or organize a beach clean-up
- Volunteer for a non-profit organization that keeps our oceans clean
- Use less plastic
- Don’t release balloons
- Support the Center for Coastal Studies by donating or purchasing 6-Pact apparel
- Learn more about the issues impacting our oceans and how you can help
Tackling a global issue as big as ocean plastic is no easy feat, but it’s not impossible. If we all do our part to clean the ocean and prevent more trash from entering it, we can #makewaves for marine life.
